Architecture of metropolitan spaces.
The course evaluates the viability of the new metro stations of line 2 of the city of Lima, and proposes new ways of living and traveling the metro stations. The project must consider the conditions of line 2: the station must be underground, contain a complementary program to its context, and must have public recreational spaces
The project faces the Av. Venezuela through a long and rectangular image, a floating prism that allows housing a public space on the ground floor and shaded underground. Upstairs is the new maranga dance school with teaching workshops, auditoriums, dance halls and public amphitheaters. On the ground floor and in underground spaces there are galleries, exhibitions and student workshops. in addition to having shops, offices and public presentation areas.
These spaces serve as a transition to access the subway platforms.
